This model features plenty of amenities and features that are typical of Volkswagen vehicles. Some of the main features include:

Engine

The engine performance varies depending on whether you want the standard or the all-wheel-drive model. The standard model features a single motor that is rear-mounted that produces 201 horsepower. It goes 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7.6 seconds.

The all-wheel-drive model features a dual-motor model, which greatly improves performance. This ID.4 model produces 301 horsepower and goes 0 to 60mph in 60 seconds.  

Battery

Volkswagen has long been known for its green technology. The ID.4’s battery allows the vehicle to go 260 miles between charges. Its 77-kilowatt-hour pack can be charged through multiple methods, including DC fast-charging. 

Fuel Economy

Consistent with the long battery life and past Volkswagen models, the fuel economy of the ID.4 is exceptional. Most models feature a city miles-per-gallon of more than 100. 

Interior 

While the standard interior may not be flashy, it is comfortable and features plenty of amenities, including ambient lighting and plenty of cargo space. By upgrading to the Statement package, the seats go from cloth to faux leather.

Infotainment 

Both the standard and the Statement package feature an infotainment touchscreen display, the lone difference is that the Statement model is two inches wider. No matter which model you choose, navigation is standard.

Safety

Volkswagen vehicles often come with significant safety features and are highly rated, some even earning perfect scores. Similar to other Volkswagen models, the ID.4 includes emergency braking and lane departure warning. 

Warranty

Great coverage comes standard with Volkswagen. Their Carefree Coverage package includes two years of maintenance, three years of roadside assistance, four years of coverage, and five years of remote access. The coverage, roadside assistance, and maintenance time periods could be superseded by milage requirements, whichever comes first.
