Chevrolet Trailblazer: A Guide to Sub-compact SUVs

The Chevrolet Trailblazer is one of the sub-compact SUVs to watch this year. It can be the perfect size car for you, your friends, or your family.

Best of all, it is made by Chevrolet, which is part of the GM family. In 2021, GM sold 2.2 million vehicles

You might be thinking that there are many good sub-compact SUVs out there. So, what makes the Chevy Trailblazer different?

This is a review of the Trailblazer.

Price and Gas Mileage

Two of the first things that some people may be concerned about are the price of the car and the gas mileage of the car. People have reason to fear the price of a car.

Between 2020 and 2021, the average price of a car increased by 17.2%. It is now about $47,000.

The good news is for those on a budget, the Chevy Trailblazer is a very affordable car. The starting MSRP for it is $22,100.

So, how about the gas mileage? How far can you get with this car before needing to refuel the gas tank?

Well, the Trailblazer averages 29 miles per gallon in the city and 33 miles per gallon on the highway. While it is not the best gas mileage in its class, it will certainly get the job done for you.

Safety Features

A lot of people that drive SUVs may prioritize the safety features that are available to them. No worries, the Chevy Trailblazer does not fall short in this category.

If you happen to fall asleep at the wheel or lose awareness of your surroundings (we do not recommend that you do this), the SUV has a forward collision alert along with emergency braking. This can prevent you from getting into a head-on collision if you happen to take your eyes off the road.

There is also a distance indicator and a lane keep assist to help keep track of the other cars on the road. If you get into a situation where a pedestrian enters the road, the car also has front pedestrian braking.

Accessories

Now, let’s get to the fun stuff. What accessories does this car offer?

Well, for those that are concerned about cargo space, it offers 54.4 cubic feet of cargo volume.

This vehicle also has wireless phone integration and wireless phone charging, and you can get built-in Alexa. If you want to listen to some music, there is wireless Apple CarPlay along with wireless Android Auto capability.

For those that take longer drives, you also have cruise control available for you.

Buy a Chevrolet Trailblazer

These are the main things that you need to know about the Chevrolet Trailblazer. The MSRP is one of the best in its class, the gas mileage is serviceable, you have a lot of safety features with this vehicle, and plenty of wireless phone accessories as well.

Are you looking for a sub-compact SUV? Do you want to buy this vehicle?
